I’m Amy, the owner, your primary point of contact, as well as your designer. I started my professional marketing journey in 2015 working at a large worldwide corporation based in California. Over the course of four years I became the lead web designer for the US territory. I have built and updated landing pages for a variety of brands on a variety of content management platforms including Sitecore, Umbraco, Rails, and Squarespace. In 2023 I completed my UX Design certification program with Google.

My marketing journey took a backseat for a few years when I moved across the country to Iowa with my husband to start a family in 2019. Moving from California to Iowa is quite the change but we love it so far. We currently live in Urbandale with our retired Greyhound and our two beautiful daughters. I love all things marketing but my passion lies with UX design. I started Urbandale Web Design to offer a service that can feel overwhelming and time consuming to many people. I hope to share my skills and lend a hand in building a website for you that is both beautiful and easy to maintain long term.
